Join us at our Market & Tapastour through Barcelona. We make a gastronomic journey from the market to the table. We start at the fountain: we discover a local market in Barcelona and listen to the history of the city's markets and get to learn why they still are Barcelona's favorite gastronomic places. We stroll through the old streets of the Gothic and Born neighborhoods, while enjoying the local epicurean flavors and traditions of some classic Spanish dishes. Your gourmet guide will share the history of Barcelona's old streets and buildings, as we stroll through 2 neighborhoods eating and drinking during a leisurely 3-hour tour.

We will enjoy a selection of unique Spanish olives, all with different flavor profiles, so there is something for everyone to enjoy! We also visit the best cheese stall on the market to taste artisan products. If you like French cheese, get ready to fall in love again, with our mix of delicious goat, sheep and cow cheeses.

No visit to Spain would be complete without learning about Iberico Ham and the different types produced. You will hear everything about production techniques and how it should be served. You can taste a beautiful 3-5 year old Iberico Bellota Ham and you will also have the opportunity to buy some of the local products as we walk among the market stalls. From here we will have a short walk through one of the best preserved Gothic quarters in the world. With a mix of history, from Roman times, we enjoy art and architecture on our way to indulge the best chocolates and churros in the city. Our historic protected farm is a gem in itself, having been built on the 4th century Roman wall. You'll be able to hear the story about the origins of chocolate in Spain and some surprising facts about churros while you taste the thick local chocolate. Our third stop is a bar, much loved locally, just a few steps away in the Gothic area. Here we try some local drinks and typical tapas, and your guide will give you insider information on local food.

We continue walking through the artisan neighborhood of El Born, where we end our experience in a charming restaurant to enjoy a delicious lunch of Spanish tapas and Catalan dishes, bathed in beautiful Spanish wine. Throughout the Market & Tapas experience, we will share insightful stories about the origin of the dishes and drinks, as well as the history, culture, and traditions of the city. It is a fun way to learn, eat and enjoy your visit to beautiful Barcelona.
